High Rain Intensity Predicted in Early January

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that rain intensity would be even in Greater Jakarta by the end of December. It is because of El Nino impact which is quite long this year.

As for the peak of rainy season will happen in January 2016. Whereas previously rain has been pouring down in early until the end of October.

BMKG: Smog Doesn't Much Impact Greater Jakarta

"Normally it's in October indeed, it is just because prolonged El Nino impact, so the peak will happen in the upcoming January, it could be up to 300 milimeter per day," he stated.
